Learn & Travel Ecuador

I am thankful for my time in Ecuador. I spent 6 wonderful weeks in this home. I always felt like a member of the family. My great Spanish classes helped me to recover my language skills. I hope that others do not miss the opportunity to visit Ecuador and spend time with this special family. Our dynamic, weekly Spanish classes were new, different, and original for me. They allowed me to get to know the city better and comfortably use the language. Thanks once again for my time with you, my teacher, and your family.

Staying with my host family was one of the most memorable experiences of my time in Ecuador. They immediately welcomed me into their family and I felt at home the minute I walked through their door. I really appreciated their hospitality, the long chats with the lady of the home, and the interest they took in me and my progress with the language. They offered me one-on-one Spanish lessons during my stay and patiently tutored me along the way. I can't speak highly enough of my time with the family, and I highly recommend staying withthem if you get the chance.

I would like to thank all of you for having accepted me into your home and making me feel like a member of your family during my 12-week stay. I was somewhat fearful before going to Ecuador, but now that my time in the country is coming to an end, I would love to be able to stay forever. I have enjoyed every moment in this spectacular country, and I will be returning to my country with a solid Spanish level and memories that I will never forget.

I really enjoyed my stay with my host family while in Ecuador. The intuitive Spanish classes, informative tours and help, and excellent food contributed to my time in the home. My individual classes were well-structured and extremely helpful. The home environment also contributed to my learning process, and I was able to easily study and practice. The tours were very well done, and I learned a lot about Ecuador�s rich history and the natural and cultural heritage of the country. I recommend this experience to anyone who is interested, and I am definitely planning on returning.

My experience of living in Ecuador during college years has been unparalleled by any other experience of travel.I chose to study in the country to improve my use of the Spanish language, but also benefitted from the many facets of immersion into Ecuadorian culture.Six months of immersion in Ecuador were more valuable to learning Spanish than the 7 years I had studied the language in public schools prior to leaving.I grew to love every beautiful location that I visited in the country, and the various cultures within each area were remarkable.I have a recipe book and a large photo album from my host family's home because I loved every outing and delicious meal they provided!!! highly recommend this opportunity to anyone who is interested!

On the recommendation of a friend I had the opportunity to stay with the family for a week and take personal lessons in Spanish from the man of the home. The individual lessons provided a good language base for the remainder of my travels in South America. My time spent with the family was great fun and the food was authentic and excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this home stay to others. I have been back to visit and hope to again if possible in the future.
